Birmingham Creative Arts is the newly launched theatrical and performing arts program of Birmingham Public Schools, debuting in Summer 2026. Open to students from Birmingham and across the greater Metro Detroit area, Birmingham Creative Arts provides high-quality musical theatre training and performance experiences that center creativity, collaboration, and community. Through immersive camps, audition-based programs, and fully staged productions, participants build confidence, discipline, and a lasting connection to the performing arts.

Birmingham Creative Arts exists to open doors for performers from Birmingham and beyond by offering inspiring instruction, strong creative leadership, and fully staged performance opportunities. We believe in creating an environment where performers of all experience levels can grow with confidence, discipline, and a deep sense of belonging through the performing arts.

SUMMER 2026

Our Creative Arts Musical Theatre Camp presents Annie Jr. in a two-week daytime musical theatre experience for performers in grades 3–12 (2025/2026 school year).

​

Campers rehearse singing, acting, and movement, collaborating toward fully staged, ticketed performances in the Seaholm High School auditorium.

 

This program is open to all experience levels and is perfect for students eager to learn, perform, and be part of a production.

​

Dates: 6/15/2026 - 6/26/2026

Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu, Fri 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Performance: June 25th (evening) &

June 26th (daytime)

Join us at Birmingham Seaholm High School as our campers bring this beloved story to life with music, heart, humor, and the joy of live theatre. After two exciting weeks of rehearsal, creativity, and teamwork, our young performers are ready to take the stage.

Program Advertisements

Celebrate a performer, promote your business, or share a message of support in our official Annie Jr. show program. Program ads are a wonderful way to recognize our cast and connect with the Birmingham Creative Arts audience.

All ads should be submitted copy-ready as a JPEG file only. Design assistance may be available for an additional fee by emailing dreamgirldet@gmail.com.

Show your support for Birmingham Creative Arts through a production sponsorship. Sponsorships help offset the costs of bringing a fully staged camp performance to life, including production materials, technical needs, student support, and the overall performance experience.
